Hi, I am James.
I am a 40 something year old photographer/videographer specialising in weddings.
I am a people person and I believe that having a good rapport and relationship with you will help you relax on the most important of days . I like to capture the natural situations as and when they arise and thrive on the pressure of the big occasion - shooting weddings and meeting people gives me a real buzz!
I have been been taking photo's professionally since 2014 and have shot over 200 events including - Weddings, Proms, Christenings, Birthdays, Family portraits, Corporate events, Christmas parties, Dance shows and Nursery photos. I have ambitions to break into sports photography and recently volunteered photographing the Grimsby 10k.
Off camera I have a keen interest in football (Grimsby Town), watching films (The Godfather, Usual Suspects), Music (Depeche Mode, the Beatles) and TV (The Office, Alan Partridge, the Wire) although I dont have time for any of it because I have 4 children! I have recently taken up running and quite enjoy keeping fit.
I am also a tutor at The Grimsby Institute and enjoy teaching and working alongside other people with a keen interest in photography and video.
Once upon a time I was a musician and used to play and sing in bands. If you are lucky you might see me singing karaoke or playing a few tunes on the piano at your wedding.
I am currently doing a degree in Business Management and Marketing
