Mr & Mrs Smith - Oaklands Hall - 12th February 2022
Back in March 2020 I met with Amy & Matt as we put the final plans together for their big day, just a few weeks away, little did we know that due to circumstances way out of our control, that wedding day would be put back - a couple of times - because of COVID and the restrictions on Weddings. In fact it was due to be my next Wedding before everything locked down, just a few days before.
Fast forward to February 2022 and at the 3rd attempt the Wedding day is finally here! Nothing much has changed in the planning of the day apart from the extra addition to the guest list. Hollie was born during the pandemic and joined her older brother Louis as part of the top table for the day. Louis was also the ring bearer and did a great job.
Amy got ready at the venue cheered on by her maid of honour Hayley and lovely bridesmaids. Hayley also made the cake which looked divine!
Matt got ready at his mums before being picked up for a ride by Select Limo's on a very windy day!
The daytime featured bag pipes, Spiderman, Elsa from Frozen, Confetti, group photos, torrential rain and fantastic speeches. Big shout out to Matts brother Ash (the best man) who included a quiz all about Matt as part of his speech.
The evening do was upon us in the blink of an eye and included all the olds favourites such as cake cutting, dancing, some sparklers and a super buffet. plus a life size cardboard cut out of Ainsley Harriet - one of Matts favourite people.
