Hannah & Matt 2/4/22 Wedding - preview and behind the scenes

What a fantastic day spent with some amazing people! The day started with sunshine and nerves and ended with drinking, dancing and laughter.

I have met up with Hannah & Matt a couple of times before the Wedding and we have got on well. They are a relaxed couple who take everything in their stride and that mirrors everything that I aim to be do on the day. The only time the couple weren't relaxed was about an hour before the ceremony when they both fell silent as the nerves kicked in! To me, that shows that they care.

The ceremony was emotional with a couple of memorable readings from maid of honour Rikki and usher Harry, my favourite bit though was when both the groom and the bride both forgot their own names during the vows!

We had confetti, drinks and photos in the sunshine before a handful of couple shots in the woods. The couple met at Sports Direct, which in a previous life is a company I used to work for, we discussed installs, head office training, area managers and stock takes - turns out we know some of the same people. Small world. Afterwards it was time for speeches.

Guests who have drunk all day do really well not to go to the toilet during the middle of the speeches

The evening had some old wedding favourites - cake cuts, first dance, women in slippers, people doing shots and pulling faces etc. It was just a super day from start to finish
