Charlotte's Top 10

Here are a few of my favourite shots of 2021 - a good mix of natural, relaxed and fun

CHARLOTTE

Chelsey & Kev

Kelham House - October 16th

This was a nice moment between Chelsey and her best boy Rex. I love capturing these natural shots that otherwise would be lost forever. Charlotte.

Samii & Georgia

Doddington Hall - July 24th

A moment of calm whilst all is hectic. Samii gathered her thoughts and paused for a few photos before the ceremony. What I love about this picture is you can see Samii is deep in thought and reflection about what is coming. Charlotte.

Emily & Jack

Huddersfield - August 21st

This photo encompasses the day well - by this point, Jack and Emily were deep in party mode, and an impromptu formal photo with some of their guests turned into this! It was a fun evening. Charlotte.

Emily & Jack

Huddersfield - August 21st

This image is all about the joy and happiness on Emily's face as she walks down the aisle to meet her soon-to-be husband, Jack. A lovely moment for two lovely people. Charlotte.

Danni & Dave

Doddington Hall - September 11th

A lot of thought went into setting this pic up to get all the dresses in the shot without compromising the beauty and importance of Danni's stunning dress. Charlotte.

Chelsea & Declan

Brackenborough - September 18th

Bridesmaid Charlotte was taken by surprise here - and luckily I was on hand to capture it! She literally had just taken off the metal cap and the cork just exploded into the air! Her reaction is brilliant. Charlotte.

Kelly & Pete

Healing Manor - August 7th

'You may kiss the Bride' Lots of passion went into this kiss from this fantastic couple. Charlotte.

Samii & Georgia

Doddington Hall - July 24th

Samii didnt take much persuading to sit and ride the toy campervan! A good ice breaking moment just before walking down the aisle. Charlotte.

Courtney & Mike

Dower House - October 23rd

A natural moment caught from a side angle really shows the happiness of Courtney and Mike who had literally just got married. Charlotte

Emily & Jack

Huddersfield - August 21st

Something different about the mustang makes this picture. Maybe the colour and maybe because its not a traditional wedding vehicle. I like the way Emily & Jack are framed by the windscreen too. Charlotte.

James' Top 10

2021 was a good year for weddings photos, here's some of my personal favourites ranging from natural emotion to couple compositions. It was VERY hard to get it down to 10!

JAMES

Zoe & Rich

Oaklands Hall - November 5th

I do like a pagoda/bandstand at a venue, it gives a focal point to the pics. Especially in the evenings. One light in front of to the side, one light behind and two people in love at the centre. James.

Danni & Dave

Doddington Hall - September 11th

By this point in the day Danni & Dave needed no encouragement for kissing and cuddling, such was their love for each other (and the amount they had to drink!). They were just kissing for about 15 mins - all I had to do was take pics. Sometimes its that easy! James.

Harry & Samantha

Stallingborough Grange - September 25th

It's not always about the people sometimes the details can make great pics too. I often get a pic of the shoes and dress together, however, for this one I really wanted Samantha's Jimmy Choo's to be the focal point and I loved the result. James.

Kelly & Pete

Healing Manor - August 7th

'You are now joined together as husband and wife' Pete's reaction says it all - excitement with a little bit of anxiety! James

Courtney & Mike

Dower House - October 23rd

The natural framing of the archway made this a great place for photos. I like this because they are not in the centre of the doorway and Courtney is looking at the camera- with a real smile. James

Chelsey & Kev

Kelham House - October 16th

Love this for a couple of reasons, one is the perfect slice that Chelsey managed to cut out during the cake cut, and Kevs reaction! Great couple. James.

Sam & Darren

Oulton Hall - July 10th

Stunning venue. Sam, the Bride, knew that she wanted some pics in this area and I was more than happy to oblige. I love how the pillars either side act as a frame. James.

Jess & Tom

Brackenborough Hotel - August 25th

Technically one of my favourite photos. Its something we have tried to get and not really done it justice before. The idea was to make it appear that Jess and Tom are 'frozen' in time whilst their guests are going about their business. The patience of everyone involved was key as it did take a while to capture. James

Samii & Georgia

Doddington Hall - July 24th

Aria started off in the group shot but soon had other ideas and ran off towards the camera. I love her face- Freedom! Plus the reaction of everyone still left in the group shot, pleased for Aria and wishing that they were free too! James

Zoe & Rich

Oaklands Hall - November 5th

I love the colours in this pic. Lovely orange glow from the sun and brown Autumnal leaves on the green grass make the couple stand out. Quite a relaxed shot as well. James
